Dressing like it's '88 in Foam

 

Yesterday I went to the Foam photography museum in Amsterdam. These photos are made in '88 by Joel Sternfeld. Spontaneously I feel like dressing like it's '88. Only I think I will not be using a rabbit as an accessory though...

Today I feel like different shades of red, bright red combined with wine-red. With some comfortable Palladium boots and the graphic bag designed by my friend Antoine Peters.

Remember I was fond of the Palladium boots during the Bas Kosters show of Fashion week? Well, I got them! (Thanks Palladium!) And I even have better news: I have a spare pair in European size 39 to give away! Yes, you read that correctly I will give away a same pair of Palladiums as I am wearing this week! So stay tuned...

Here I combine the Men's jeans shirt from Versace for H&M (still available online!) with my blazer of Joline Jolink. I love the pattern on the shirt, which makes it a bit of a different jeans shirt. The blazer has a boyfriend fit, and pied-de-poule sleeves, so a perfect manly fit with the shirt. To make it even manlier I show you my tough 'cat with the big hat'. I think he looks like the Cheshire Cat.

This floral pants is my new obsession. Remember I wore this to the show of Bas Kosters during Amsterdam Fashion Week with the Zara blouse? I think it is a little too obvious to combine this trousers with black, so I decided to combine it with white, creamwhite and red this time. What is your spring-obsession? Let me know!

Moustututache

Sex and the city has been for a long time my fashion inspiration (who doesn't love the fur coat, the strappy sandals, tutu dress, crazy print-combinations and Paris-inspired clothing?). For this outfit I combined the tutu-Carrie-dress in combination with a comfortable jersey, my moustache-necklace and some fur with patent leather brogues. Hope you like it! How do you combine your SATC-inspired clothing into a street-wearable outfit?
